Major Project Smart Objective

Smart Objective  The name of my project is "The Sad Story about Littering" I'll be taking pictures in Leicester City. There are many places I can use. I will use the Flipbook platform to create a virtual book. I will use plasticine to create the character. I use Nikon Z6 to take pictures and 3 lenses I have (Nikon 24-70mm 2.8, Nikon Macro 105mm 2.8 G, Nikon 50 mm 1.8 S) I will use Lightroom and Photoshop to edit photos and make a cover page. I will do my project by December 8, 2022

Ideas Generation

My project stems from my frustration. I often cycle around Leicester City. I love nature and I love being outdoors. What scares me is a lot of rubbish lying on the streets. I often see young people throwing garbage on the street. This is a common phenomenon in the UK. I do not like this. Rubbish in Leciester is everywhere. There are even plastic bottles floating in the canal. This problem needs to be shown and people must be made aware of the great evil they are doing. I have visited many countries in my life. I have a comparison to, for example, Switzerland. It is one of the most beautiful and clean countries in the world. Being there one feels at peace and is happy. My idea is to create a virtual dramatic photo story. Where the main character dies, overwhelmed by the fact that there is garbage everywhere. The title of my project is "A sad story about littering" Pexels.com

Major Project Milanote

My milanote contains a plan to create a story about a plasticine figure who came out to explore the city. At first, he is fascinated and happy to be able to explore the city. However, over time, he meets a lot of rubbish on his way, which causes depression and finally brings the character to death. In my milanote, I plan my character, plan his name. I need to take about 15-20 photos and create a virtual book. There are many more things I have to think about. What lenses will I use for my project. Will use any flash.  There is still a lot to add. Advert Creation - Final project

The final design of my advertisement shows a girl who has stopped on her bike and is photographing the area. I tried to present my message that this is an advertisement for a digital camera that has an old-fashioned look by showing the old style of clothing and an old-fashioned bicycle. The photo is black and white which also enhances the aged atmosphere.

Advert Creation - Photoshoot

To make my advertisement, I asked my friend Karolina to help me. We did a short photo session with a bicycle and a camera. I used a Nikon 24-70 2.8 S zoom lens and a Nikon Z6 camera to take the final photo. I was working in manual mode. I used a focal length of 67 millimeters, 2.8 aperture, 1/160 exposure time, ISO 400, 0EXP. I did the photo processing in Lightroom.

Advert Creation - Logo

The logo of my company selling digital cameras with an antique look. I used the Canva.com website to create my logo.

Advert Creation - Initial plan

The initial plan of my advertisement was to combine a bicycle trip with photography. I wanted to show that the camera is the best travel friend. Later I thought my cameras would be old-fashioned.

Creating and Advertisement: Ideas and Initial Research

The first ad shows the efficiency of the autofocus by showing a funny scene of men focusing their eyes on a beautiful woman. The advertisement attracts the attention of the recipient. This advertisement has a strong sexual impact. The woman is attractive. It has exposed neckline and legs. This means that no one will be indifferent to this advertisement. The advertisement was made for the Olimpus company.                                   Source:   Autofocus Advert The second Nikon ad shows how many lenses they offer. The advertisement shows the richness of Nikon's offer. The advertisement also shows the possibilities that the company has. It shows how huge the choice is for the consumers of this brand. This is an example of how you can show your position in the market.                                Source: Nikon Advert

Sequential Imagery Research

Marriage of German photographers Bernhard "Bernd" Becher (1931-2007) and Hilla Becher (1934-2015). They worked together, they are best known for their typology - that is, a series of photographs that document some kind of object, building, from a similar field.   Hilla and Bernd Becher, "Framework Houses," 1959–73 MoMA   Source:  Bloomberg                        Hilla and Bernd Becher,Pitheads,1974. Sequential Images: Clas Task

In class we discussed sequential imagery in Photography and i worked with my partner Iwona  to crate sequential images using mobile phone photography. I began by shooting images using these settings on my Realme GT. Ussed the auto setings on my phone. I didn't quite do this exercise correctly. To tell the truth, I did not understand the task entrusted to me. I missed class a few minutes. The day before I wasn't in class. Also, the first day at the university was not entirely successful.
